Scientific Abstracts 2012 Online Submissions

All accepted abstracts will be published in their entirety in an electronic format on the ANESTHESIOLOGY 2012 website. Submission instructions are available on the scientific abstract submission site.

 

Resident Research Essay Contest

Eligibility

  1. The entrant must be an ASA member at the time of submission. Any co-entrant(s) may or may not be a member of ASA.
  2. The work reported should have been completed during residency or research fellowship training. Research performed as a student may be considered.
  3. Papers should be submitted during or within one year following completion of training.
  4. A previous entry or award does not preclude eligibility.

Submission
Each entry shall be a single manuscript, double-spaced. Co-authors and collaborators need to be acknowledged on the title page of the manuscript. A letter from the entrant, as well as the residency program director, must also accompany the application, which states that the research and manuscript were predominantly done by the applicant.  Finally, an abstract based on the same material must be submitted independently to the ASA Scientific Abstract Committee.

Only one application will be accepted per applicant.
