CMS Introduces the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation

Recently, CMS formally established the new Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI).  The Innovation Center was created by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and will examine health care delivery and payment system reform.  Richard Gilfillan, M.D. was appointed Acting Innovation Center Director.  For more information about the Innovation Center, please visit www.innovations.cms.gov.
