Sample Procedures

Sample checkout procedures have been submitted and approved for inclusion into this library by the ASA Committee on Equipment and Facilities. All of the sample checkout procedures are currently in use and were designed for equipment available in the submitting departments. Variations in the sample checkout procedures are dictated by differences in local resources and practice patterns. The sample procedures are intended to assist individual departments with developing checkout procedures that are best suited to the equipment used and the needs of the department.

One goal is to add sample checkout procedures to the library to enhance this reference. Anyone who has developed a checkout procedure and is using it actively is welcome to submit it for possible inclusion in the library. To submit a sample procedure for consideration, the checkout procedure submission template should be downloaded, completed and forwarded along with the checkout procedure to Adam Striker, MD at astriker@sbcglobal.net or to the current chair of the ASA Committee on Equipment and Facilities.
