Regional anesthesia, particularly peripheral nerve block for surgical anesthesia and postoperative analgesia, is enjoying a resurgence thanks to the growing accessibility of ultrasound equipment for image guidance. The use of ultrasound guidance offers the advantage of performing blocks with direct visualization of all involved anatomical structures. This wonderful new capability has, in turn, created the challenge of learning and perfecting these techniques.
The USRA Skills Course enables you to optimize and interpret the ultrasound machine's information and to apply it to real-world clinical procedures. You will spend more than half the course time in hands-on workshops under the direction of our expert faculty.
