The anesthesia provider must maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding health care delivery. This program is intended to review and update the knowledge and skills of the anesthesia provider as it relates to current professional practice. A special focus will be given to topics on liver transplantation anesthesia, regional analgesia and acute pain, billing for acute pain and blocks, discussion of new anticoagulants, chronic pain and new treatments for chronic daily headache and Fibromyalgia, controversial issues in pediatric regional anesthesia and a hands-on Ultrasound Guided Workshop utilizing live models.
