Acute Pain Management has become one of the fastest growing anesthesia subspecialties in the past decade. This unique 3-day symposium is designed to offer a comprehensive update on this quickly developing field and to present the best current techniques and approaches. Featured speakers include some the world's leading pain physicians from Massachusetts General, Brigham & Women's, and Children's Hospitals. In addition, two premier workshops led by Harvard Medical School staff on Ultrasound Guided Regional Blocks and Complementary Medicine will give participants insight on innovative approaches to regional anesthesia and perioperative pain management and an opportunity for supervised hands-on training on live models in a 5:2 student to faculty ratio. For further information, please contact the Course Director Padma Gulur at pgulur@partners.org.
