Welcome to the ASA Medical Student Component. We are a group of students dedicated to educating our peers about the field of anesthesiology and promoting the mission of the ASA. We seek to attract and assist high quality medical students to learn more about the field of anesthesiology and consider careers as anesthesiologists.

Medical Student Component Delegate
Get involved with the ASA as a student and represent your school in our House of Delegates. Every accredited medical school is entitled to one delegate and one alternate delegate to act as liaisons between the ASA Medical Student Component and their medical school. Medical Student Newsletter and Optimize Your Match Series
The Medical Student Component publishes a periodic Newsletter to keep you informed on important events and topics in anesthesia. Newsletters dating back to 2010 are archived here.
