CMS Releases Proposed Rule for 2011 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released its proposed Calendar Year (CY) 2011 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule regulation, outlining proposed changes to policies and payment rates for services to be furnished on or after January 1, 2011. ASA is currently analyzing the proposed rule for its impact on anesthesiologists and their practices, and will submit comments by the deadline of August 24, 2010.
