Congressional summary of health reform bills
Chicago —
(January 5, 2010)
ASA has obtained a Democratic staff-authored document detailing the major differences between the health reform bills passed by the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate. The document highlights areas that will be the subject of top-line negotiations between House and Senate leaders as they seek to reconcile their differing versions of reform. While some staff-level discussion are reported to be taking place this week, it is expected that negotiations on major issues will begin when the Senate reconvenes the week of January 18.
