Mission Details
International Surgical Health Initiative (ISHI) is organizing its first surgical mission to Sierra Leone in 2011. We plan to perform about 50-80 general surgery operations in the town of Kabala over a two week period. Kabala is a rural town in Northern Sierra Leone and is in much need of a surgical team. Expenses: Volunteers will be responsible for their own airfare and some accommodation costs. The cost of transportation inside Sierra Leone as well as lodging and food in Kabala are covered by ISHI.
