ASA Annual Meeting Highlights |
There is a reason San Francisco is often
referred to as Everyone's Favorite City: It just seems
to be everyone's favorite city. The 2000 Annual Meeting held on
October 14-18 drew 17,015 ASA members, guests, spouses and exhibitors.
This amount represents the third largest Annual Meeting attendance
in ASA's history, behind only (you guessed it) San Francisco (18,377
in 1994) and just short of San Diego's record (17,676 in 1997).
Highlights of the 2000 ASA Annual Meeting included the installation
of ASA President Neil Swissman, M.D., of Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr.
Swissman has served as President-Elect (2000), First Vice-President
