Letters
between Drs. Wood and Waters, 1933
This letter exchange between
Ralph M. Waters, M.D., and Paul M. Wood,
M.D., reveals a shared passion for the specialty
but also an interesting difference in temperament
and character. Dr. Waters seems ever the
smooth, polished professional, while Dr.
Wood presents himself as more informal, rough-edged
and unabashedly honest. But as these letters
attest, the men were closely aligned both
as friends and professional associates.
