The Andrews Institute

Each year anesthesiologists at the Andrews Institute ASC, Dr. Greg Hickman & Dr. Brandon Winchester, perform over 3000 ultrasound-guided nerve blocks including over 1600 continuous ambulatory perineural catheters. Common blocks performed at Andrews include interscalene, supraclavicular, infraclavicular, axillary, popliteal, tibial, fascia iliaca, femoral, adductor canal / saphenous, iPACK, TAP, PECS, and rectus sheath. Since our USRA preceptorship courses are held on the busiest block days, the result is an incredible opportunity for preceptors to witness a vast number of blocks, while interacting with the experts as they perform these procedures. All attendees will also participate in a head-to-toe ultrasound scanning workshop with a 2:1 pupil to instructor ratio.
