ASA Member Ronald A. Gabel, M.D. Elected to AMA Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement

ASA Member Ronald A. Gabel, M.D., Professor Emeritus of Anesthesiology at the University of Rochester in NewYork, has recently been elected one of six at-large members of the Executive Committee of the American Medical Association Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement (www.physicianconsortium.org). The Consortium is made up of 73 national medical specialty societies and 16 state medical societies. Its primary mission is to develop evidence-based physician performance measures to facilitate quality improvement and to document quality of care provided by physicians.
