ASA PROVIDES TOOLS TO PATIENTS WHO WANT TO QUIT SMOKING AROUND THE TIME OF SURGERY

As the heart and lung specialists in the operating room, anesthesiologists know how important it is to stop smoking around the time of surgery.  Therefore, the American Society of Anesthesiologists has formed a Smoking Cessation Task Force which is providing tools to assist patients in their efforts to quit smoking …hopefully for good!
