ASA invites AAAA, AANA to offer support for anesthesia work value increase in CMS Proposed 2008 Physician Fee Schedule

ASA is waging a massive letter-writing campaign to generate comments in support of the CMS Proposed 2008 Physician Fee Schedule.  The proposed rule, released July 2, would result in an increase of more than $3.00 per anesthesia unit.

As part of its effort, ASA has reached out to the American Association of Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAAA) and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) seeking additional positive comment letters to CMS.
