ASA Member Rebecca S. Twersky, M.D., M.P.H., appeared in a February 25, CBS News “Eye on Your Health” segment examining outbreaks of hepatitis B and C cases from a variety of outpatient offices or nonhospital settings. Dr. Twersky demonstrated how infection can be spread through improper use of multidose vials.
