The Wall Street Journal Focuses on Rare Anesthesia Risk
ASA President-Elect Roger A. Moore, M.D., and ASA member Hendry Rosenberg, M.D., president of the Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the United States were interviewed for an April 30 The Wall Street Journal article focused on the rare occurrence of malignant hyperthermia. Dr. Moore was quoted on the safety of anesthesia and the vigilance of anesthesiologists. Dr. Rosenberg commented on triggers for malignant hyperthermia and symptoms of the occurrence of the rare genetic disorder.
