ASA-SAMBA Measure Development - American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA)

2018 Call for Concepts: Ambulatory Anesthesia Measure Development

Dates: The ASA-SAMBA Call for Concepts is open from Monday, June 6 - Friday, June 26, 2018.

Project Overview: The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia (SAMBA) invite anesthesiologists and members of the public to submit measure concepts related to ambulatory anesthesia and/or suitable for the ambulatory setting.

Quality measure reporting is essential for local quality improvement activities including benchmarking, and the success of physician anesthesiologists in federal payment programs such as the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). Together, the ASA and SAMBA are dedicated to expanding the set of measures available for anesthesiologists practicing in the ambulatory setting to report. They invite members to submit measure concepts related to ambulatory anesthesia with particular interest in high-priority process or outcome measures.

Submit your measure concept here. Measure concepts will be collected via SurveyMonkey only.
