This panel will provide descriptions and discussion of common clinical challenges faced by anesthesiologists when they cover labor and delivery overnight. The speakers will try to provide clinical pearls for situations such as dealing with patients who present with little to no prenatal care, treating severe hemorrhage without knowledgeable assistance, keeping abreast of the patient volume and acuity during a busy night and safely performing general anesthesia in pregnant patients. The attendee should expect an interactive session with different perspectives from each speaker.
