This interactive multimedia program was developed to aid the ASA membership in becoming more aware of the resources available at ASA Headquarters. The highlight of the program is a virtual tour of the Wood Library-Museum. The virtual tour allows the user to navigate through the main gallery of the museum as if the user were physically present at the museum. Over thirty-four 360° panoramic digital scenes are linked together to create the virtual museum scene. Furthermore the contents in the virtual museum scene are linked to hundreds of digital photographs. Navigation through the virtual museum scene is accomplished by clicking the mouse in the direction of desired movement, or by clicking and dragging the mouse in the direction the user wants to turn. A close-up view and information on an item on display is obtained by clicking the mouse on the item. Contents of the museum can also be located using a text-based searching method. In addition, the program contains a review of the other resources and services available through the Wood Library-Museum

Enjoy and plan a tour of the Real Wood Library-Museum!
