MSARF Symposium

The MSARF Symposium showcases research projects conducted by medical students in anesthesiology laboratories across the nation. During the first half of the three-hour forum, medical students present posters featuring their research. In the second half, a select group of these medical students also give oral presentations.

Through the MSARF Symposium, medical students:

  • Learn more about the American Society of Anesthesiologists through participation in the national meeting
  • Meet and interact with researchers and other leaders in the specialty
  • Present research findings to a national audience

2016 MSARF Symposium

The MSARF Symposium will be held at the ANESTHESIOLOGY® 2016 annual meeting in Chicago.

The symposium is open to anyone who attends the annual meeting. Many anesthesiology department chairs, program directors, faculty members and mentors stop by the symposium to meet the medical students, discuss their posters and hear their presentations.
