Executive Physician Leadership Program

The Executive Physician Leadership Program, designed in partnership with Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, provides physician anesthesiologists with necessary leadership skills development in the areas of influence and motivation, change management, corporate finance and health care system strategy.  Your successful completion of this curriculum will advance your leadership and health care strategy skills while earning Continuing Medical Education credits and a Certificate of Completion.

1. Nonclinical knowledge of health care environment 

  • Health law and policy: federal and state
  • External accreditation and regulation: CMS, Joint Commission
  • Healthcare information technology (HIT)
  • Models of health care payment and delivery: integrated systems, ACOs, bundled payments, etc.
