IARS 2022 Webinar Series: Is less Really More for the Brain in the ICU
Nov 8, 2022
Education Track: MOCA® Part 2 Credits: 1 CME credit for IARS members only

Approximately one-third of ICU survivors will experience significant cognitive impairment, including newly acquired dementias. Functional, psychiatric, and chronic pain symptoms also drive worse quality of life in critical illness survivors. Post-ICU survivorship is now a focus of clinical management and critical care research. This session will discuss current evidence regarding a less-is-more approach to the brain in critically ill patients and its impact on long-term survivorship.
