Education Track: Fundamentals of Anesthesiology Credits: 25

The mission of maintenance of certification (MOCA®) at the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia (MOCA®Simulation@SPA™) is to provide educational experiences that focus on improvement relevant to the American Board of Anesthesiology diplomate’s practice. To accomplish this mission critical concepts closely tied to quality improvement in the practice (practice performance and Improvement (PPAI)) of Anesthesiology or Pediatric Anesthesiology are simulated in a non-threatening environment. In addition, areas for improvement in medical practice (IMP) are discovered by allowing the learner to reflect on areas of improvement and to identify vulnerabilities that may exist in their respective practices.
