ASA Refresher Course/Clinical Update Program Videotapes Available

During the 1996 and 1997 ASA Annual Meetings, seven lecture presentations were videotaped at each meeting as studio presentations. All 14 videotapes are now available to order through National Audio Video, Inc. Each tape costs $29.95 per copy plus $4 (U.S.) or $8 (foreign) per tape for shipping. AMA Meeting to Include Issues for Section Council

Officials from the ASA Section Council on Anesthesiology of the American Medical Association (AMA) would like to know the names of the ASA members who are planning to attend the AMA House of Delegates meeting on June 14-18, 1998, in Chicago, Illinois.

The Section Council is open to all anesthesiologists who attend the AMA House of Delegates meeting. The Section Council meets to discuss resolutions and other issues of importance to anesthesiologists. Section council meetings usually take place on Saturday and Monday of the AMA House of Delegates meeting. If you are attending the AMA House of Delegates meeting, ASA would welcome your participation.

Calendars for Meetings' Booklet Entries Invited

The next edition of "Calendars for Meetings" will be distributed with the July 1998 ASA NEWSLETTER. The deadline for submissions for the booklet is June 1, 1998. Entries must be submitted in writing and received at the ASA Executive Office by the deadline. Submissions will not be taken by telephone.
