The ASA thanks the following members of Congress for their commitment
to patient safety and their co-sponsorship of H.R. 3629/S. 1811,
the Safer Seniors Medical Care Act of 1998. This bill seeks to
assure Medicare and Medicaid patients the continued involvement
of a physician in the delivery of their anesthesia care.
