Chair
Committee on Clinical Forum
The Clinical Forum sessions at the 1999 ASA Annual Meeting will
be held Monday through Wednesday, October 11-13, 1999, at the
Dallas Convention Center, Dallas, Texas. Last year's Forums were
informative, interactive, thought provoking and fun! We believe
the sessions this year will live up to that challenge. The Clinical
Forum format is designed to allow a panel of experts to delve
into designed cases informally and to discuss clinical management
decisions. Remember, Clinical Forums are a chance to interact
with and question the experts and the sessions are free!
The Clinical Forum cases will be printed in the 1999 Annual
Meeting Program book so participants may review and study
them prior to attendance. Some of the Forums will provide an expanded
case summary and an outline of the important and controversial
issues to those who attend. Each Clinical Forum session is scheduled
for 90 minutes and the moderator will be keenly interested in
facilitating audience discussion with the panelists. We will look
forward to seeing you there!
