The Committee
on Scientific and Educational Exhibits has announced
the award winners for the 2003 Annual Meeting. Sixty
scientific and educational exhibits were displayed.
The winners are:
First-Place: “Learning Brachial Plexus Techniques
With the Aid of a Computerized Simulator.”
Presenters were Daniel D. Wambold, M.D., and Andrew
D. Rosenberg, M.D., from the Hospital of Joint Diseases,
New York, New York, as well as P. Prithvi Raj, M.D.,
and Thomas Sims.
Merit winners included:

“CT-Guided Discography: A Comparative Study
of Clinical Diagnosis With 2-D and 3-D Reconstructed
Images,” submitted by P. Sebastian Thomas, M.D.,
Cyriac Joseph, M.D., Parag Pandya, M.D., Amar Goyal,
M.B., Syed I. Hosain, M.D., Christi A. Barber, A.N.P.,

Scientific and clinical value, originality, creativity
and quality of the presentation are considered when
judging for the awards.
