Annual Meeting Cadaver Workshop Has Lively Attendance

Sunil J. Panchal, M.D.
Committee on Pain Medicine

The inaugural ASA Interventional Pain Medicine Hands-on Cadaver Workshops were an unqualified success this past October. The sessions were sold out and were taught by leaders in the field from academia as well as private practice. Attendees expressed great appreciation for the ample hands-on time with the limited enrollment and practical “clinical pearls” shared by the faculty. Courses were geared to provide valuable experience for advanced practitioners as well as novices. The workshops will be offered again at the 2004 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will be directed by Sunil J. Panchal, M.D., and Nagy Mekhail, M.D. We look forward to seeing you there!

Sunil J. Panchal, M.D., is Director of Interventional Pain Medicine and Associate Professor, Departments of Interdisciplinary Oncology and Anesthesiology, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa, Florida.
