Riopelle, M.D., was among several motorists who stopped to aid in rescue efforts for an auto accident that occurred near LaPlace, Louisiana. Dr. Riopelle also was quoted in the article, commenting on the impressive water rescue attempts of bystanders.

n October 25 WTAE-TV (Pittsburgh) medical segment reported that the use of state-of-the-art technology allows more women — even those with heart problems — to have successful pregnancies.
