Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) during its
2007 annual meeting.

Dr. Osborn currently practices medicine
at St. Francis Medical Center, Proctor Hospital,
Peoria, and at a number of ambulatory surgery centers
in Peoria as well as St. James Medical Center in
Pontiac. He serves on the clinical faculty at the
University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria.
Dr. Osborn was chair of the ASA Political Action
Committee from 1994-2001 and is a member of the
ASA Board of Directors. Previously Dr. Osborn was
President-Elect (2006-07), Speaker of the House
of Delegates (2003-05) and Vice-Speaker (2001-03)
of ISMS. Dr. Osborn also holds membership in the
American Medical Association, the Central Illinois
Medical Review Organization (CIMRO) and the Illinois
Society of Anesthesiologists, where he is a past
president. Dr. Osborn currently serves as Vice-Chair
of the Board of Directors of CIMRO and as chair
of CIMRO-Nebraska.
He received his undergraduate degree with honors
from Colorado State University and his medical degree
from the Northwestern University Medical School,
where he also completed a four-year residency and
fellowship in the department of anesthesiology.
