to Our Sponsors” on page 31 of the November
NEWSLETTER erroneously
referred to the listed companies as “sponsors”
of the 2007 Annual Meeting and stated, “Their
support in funding various unrestricted contributions
… .”
The listed companies either purchased advertising
in the Annual Meeting Daily News (show
daily) or sponsorships for items such as hotel key
cards or lent equipment for use in workshops held
at the Annual Meeting. No promotional items or activities
were permitted in any educational sessions. All
guidelines from the Accreditation Council for Continuing
Medical Education (ACCME) were followed.
ASA gratefully acknowledges the support of these
outside agencies.
