- Support system for those with Chronic Pain.
 
American Pain Society
- Dedicated to serving people in pain. The society was founded in 1978 as a national chapter of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).
 
American Society of Anesthesiologists
- Search for ASA members. Monthly newsletters, Practice Guidelines and Patient Education info all in HTML format! Bylaws, Standards and Meeting info also available.
 
American Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists
- Focusing on intensive care in the perioperative period as well as in the ICU.
 
American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists
- Dentists with at least 2 years of Anesthesia training.

European Society of Anaesthesiologists
- Publish the European Journal of Anesthesiology, international membership with reduced rates for residents. Annual meetings rotate.

- Spanish language site.
 
Florida Anesthesiology Computer Engineering Team (FACET)

The International Association for the Study of Pain
- A nonprofit, multidisciplinary professional organization. Membership open to all health professionals interested in the study and treatment of pain.
 
International Anesthesia Research Society
- An international society committed to improving clinical care, education and research in anesthesia, perioperative medicine and pain management. Publisher of Anesthesia & Analgesia. Affiliated societies include Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, Society for AMBulatory Anesthesia, & Society for Intravenous Anesthesia.
 
International Spinal Injection Society
- An association of physicians interested in the development, implementation, and standardization of percutaneous techniques for the precision diagnosis of spinal pain.
 
International Trauma Anesthesia and Critical Care Society
- Founded in 1988, they are an international non-profit foundation and professional association providing continuing education and research related to trauma and critical care.
 
Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the United States
- Includes how to reach the Hotline, and the North American MH Registry.
 
New England Society of Anesthesiologists
- Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont. Host an annual meeting.
 
Ophthalmic Anesthesia Society
- focusing on quality of care in ophthalmic procedures.
 
Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia
- SAMBA. Information about the society and links to other anesthesia resources.
 
Society for Computing and Technology in Anesthesia
- Based in England, they have a Case Log program for PDAs.
 
Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists
- Discussion groups on CV anesthesia, Airway, Fellowships. Great links for subspecialty resources, including other societies and journals.
 
Society for Education in Anesthesia
- A non-profit educational organization for anesthesiology educators who desire to improve their skills in anesthesia education.
 
Society for Pediatric Anesthesia
- Education, research and patient care, focused on pediatric patients.
 
Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology
- Founded in 1968, SOAP includes anesthesiologists, obstetricians, pediatricians and others with an interest in OB anesthesia issues.
 
Society for Technology in Anesthesia
- Their main goal is to enhance the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge of anesthesia technology. Free resident memberships. Also has a group dealing specifically with computers in anesthesia, and another with simulators.
