- A continually updated drug reference designed for handheld devices (PDAs). Works on both the Palm OS and Windows CE. Freely downloadable from their site if your desktop is a Windows-based system. There is now a "Pro" version which includes information on alternative preparations, antibiotics and other things, which is available for both Windows and Mac.

GasMan

- A great computer program that lets you simulate gas uptake and distribution. You can set fresh gas flows, type of circuit, etc. Developed by James Philip, MD.

- one of the largest "collections of collections" on the Internet. ibiblio is a conservancy of freely available information, including software, music, literature, art, history, science, politics, and cultural studies. This is an ftp-based site. Direct link to the Medical collection.

- The most comprehensive medical PDA resource on the web.

PKPD Software Server

- Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics Software Server site. Created by Steve Shafer and hosted at Stanford. Lots of Anesthesia Software and plug-ins related to PK/PD.
