Congratulations to FAER’s ADVANCE 2023 Poster Award Winners!

The Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) sponsored poster presentations and awards at the live ADVANCE: The Anesthesiology Business Event, held from January 27 – 29 in Orlando, Florida. Posters were presented across two sessions on Friday during the meeting.

FAER provided first, second, and third place prizes for posters related to health services and advancing the practice of anesthesia. The posters were evaluated based on two criteria: recognizing outstanding evidence-based research in the field and supporting scientific discovery and knowledge application in all aspects of the practice, with the unifying goal of medical advancement.

First Place: Awarded $1,000

Third Place: Awarded $250

Along with congratulating our poster winners, FAER would also like to thank the members of the 2023 Award Selection Committee for dedicating their time to review and judge this year’s poster submissions. Judges for the 2022 poster sessions included Drs. Basem Abdelmalak, Elizabeth Rebello, Grant Lynde, Lori Marshall, William David Sumrall, and Edward “Ted” Yaghmour.
