Drawing Rules: This drawing to win one of ten $10 Amazon gift card is conducted by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). Entering the drawing is free – you do not need to make any purchase or attend an ASA program to participate, nor will doing so increase your odds of winning. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by the following:

1. To Enter: You may enter the drawing by using this link, which indicates your entry is for the ASA Drawing. To qualify, entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on November 30, 2025.
2. Eligibility: The Drawing is open to anesthesia professionals who live in the United States and have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. By submitting an entry to the Drawing, entrants certify that their participation in this Drawing is not illegal or in violation of any law, regulation, treaty or administrative act, and that the laws of their governing jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry do not prohibit or restrict the receipt of any prize under this Drawing.
3. Drawings: The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. There is no limit on the number of entries. The potential winner will be notified at the end of the day on which the drawing occurs.
4. Prizes: The prize is nontransferable; no substitutions or cash equivalents are allowed. Prize details not specified herein shall be determined solely by ASA. Winners agree to supply ASA with any information necessary for tax reporting purposes and to cooperate in fulfilling all applicable legal requirements. If legitimately claimed, all stated prizes will be awarded. One prize per person/household. In the event that the selected winner(s) of the prize is/are ineligible, cannot be traced or does not respond within 7 days to a winner notification, or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited and ASA, in its sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to another entrant. ASA reserves the right to modify prize award procedures. All local, state, and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of prize winners.
5. Data Privacy: Entrants agree that the personal data supplied to ASA may be processed, shared, and otherwise used for the purposes of the Drawing and in accordance with ASA’s Privacy Policy available at www.asahq.org. Entrant consents to the use by ASA and its designees of their names and/or photographs for advertising or publicity purposes related to the Drawing without further consideration, except where prohibited by law. Winners may be released publicly by ASA on its social media channels.
6. Limitation of Liability: By participating in the drawing, entrants release, indemnify, and hold harmless the ASA and all its affiliates, subsidiaries, and its officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, “Releasees”) from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, and liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the drawing or acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or nonuse of the prize awarded (including any travel or travel-related activity thereto). Releasees are not responsible for technical, computer, mechanical, printing, typographical, human, or other errors relating to or in connection with the drawing, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the drawing, the processing of entries, or in any drawing-related material; or the announcement of the prize. As a condition of entering the drawing, entrant agrees that: a) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; b) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this drawing or the prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and c) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred and in no event shall entrant be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs.
7. Governing Law: These rules and the validity, construction, performance, and enforcement thereof shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, but without reference to its laws regarding conflicts of law. Each of the entrants hereby irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of the Cook County Courts located in Chicago, Illinois over any suit, action or other proceeding brought by any party arising out of or relating to this drawing, and each of the entrants irrevocably agrees that all claims with respect to any such suit, action or other proceeding shall be heard and determined in such court.
