AIC Kijabe Hospital, a rural Christian mission hospital in Kijabe, Kenya, is looking for short-term volunteers to help provide clinical and educational coverage between June 15 and September 1, 2023. Trainees include nurse anesthesia students and physician anesthesia residents. Volunteers would need to be available for a minimum of two weeks. Touching Hands, a program of the American Foundation for Surgery of the Hand, is urgently seeking an anesthesiologist volunteer for a mission trip October 23-29 in Trinidad and Tobago, led by Dr. Purnell Traverso. One World Surgery organizes surgical and primary care missions to its facility in Honduras, the Holy Family Surgery Center. One World Surgery also leads primary care field missions in the communities surrounding the site of its future surgery center and primary care clinic in the Dominican Republic. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is urgently recruiting anesthesia to provide care to communities without access to functioning health care systems. Pediatrics and obstetric experience is a strong priority right now.
