Please note there is another Marriott property nearby, the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk located at 889 E Market St, which is a separate hotel hosting some meeting activities.

The deadline for cancellation requests for paid registrations is Friday, September 12, 2025. No refunds will be given for no shows or cancellations related to refusal to adhere to meeting guidelines.

• Non-Transferable: Registration or ticketed sessions cannot be transferred to another attendee.

If you are unable to meet us in San Antonio, we have developed a Virtual Experience for your convenience. You will have access to a streamlined, curated selection of offerings from October 11, 2025 through October 16, 2026, including:

• 23 live-streamed sessions (these will be recorded for later viewing)
• 6 featured lectures, including the keynote session by Lucy Kalanithi, MD
• 20 pre-recorded learning program modules
• Poster viewing of Scientific Abstracts, Medically Challenging Cases and Quality Improvement Projects

Yes, there are ticketed educational sessions and learning activities that require an additional fee (Hands-on Workshops, Problem Based Learning Discussions (PBLDs), Safe Tables, and CV Review Sessions). Attendees can sign up for ticketed sessions and add on the following during the registration process:

• President’s Reception: $125
• USSA/AVAA Annual Academic Meeting: $250 member, $325 non-member 

Yes, the House of Delegates will meet at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on Sunday, October 12 and Wednesday, October 15, beginning at 8 a.m. local time.
