Leadership Spokesperson Training Program (LSTP)

Join us for a complimentary session of When Seconds Count® Leadership Spokesperson Training Program (LSTP), which will give you the tools to make your messages resonate with media and policymakers through effective delivery and stories.

During the interactive training session, attendees will participate in exercises and learn:

  • Effective techniques for conducting successful media interviews or policyholder meetings.
  • How to confidently and comfortably control a media interview and ensure your message gets in the story.
  • Key messages about patient-centered, physician-led care as part of the When Seconds Count…Physician Anesthesiologists Save Lives® nationwide educational endeavor and how to incorporate these messages in discussions with target audiences including the media, policymakers, hospital administrators, patients and others.
  • How to craft and tell compelling stories to advance the specialty.

LSTP is open to ASA physician anesthesiologist, resident and certified anesthesiologist assistant members. To attend, please RSVP with your preferred training date and time to Ida Teklu at I.teklu@asahq.org no later than Friday, October 6. But hurry, seats are limited and placed on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Sunday, Oct. 22 - 2 – 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 23 - 2 – 5 p.m.
