2015 Locale Specific Medicare Anesthesia Conversion Factors

Updated January 7, 2015: CMS has revised the locale-specific conversion factors.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has posted the locale specific Medicare anesthesia conversion factors for 2015.  These figures are a result of the override of Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) formula that was included in the Protecting Access to Medicare Act (PAMA) of 2014.  This SGR patch remains in effect until March 31, 2015.  Absent further Congressional action, these figures will change for services provided on/after April 1, 2015.  ASA will post additional updates as information becomes available.
