Attend the 2016 Specialty Physician & Dentist Candidate Workshop, Sep. 30-Oct. 1, 2016

ASA members interested in making a run for public office are invited to attend the 7th Annual Specialty Physician & Dentist Candidate Workshop. Political experts will use their diverse backgrounds to provide insight into the process of transitioning from practice to politics. They will offer best practices in campaign strategy, including building grassroots momentum and support, effective messaging, fundraising, and managing media advertising. ASA members will also be given the opportunity to ask experts questions specific to their individual political goals and to network with other specialty physicians and dentists interested in running for office.

ASA member Tom Oliverson, M.D., State Representative-elect from Texas House District 130, is among this year's exciting lineup of speakers. Dr. Oliverson, who attended the 2015 Specialty Physician & Dentist Candidate Workshop, will talk with workshop attendees about his successful campaign journey and all that he has learned along the way.
