Update on LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE 2020 and Grassroots Meetings

Thank you to our members who are actively engaged with the ASA Grassroots Network.  Please note that due to the ongoing and evolving situation with the Coronavirus COVID-19, lawmakers are not accepting in-person meetings at present.  Please do not request any meetings with lawmakers until we have more information about this situation. Similarly, many candidates are postponing or canceling political events. If you have an ASAPAC contribution for local delivery, please mail it by March 31 to the address on the check. While Congress is closed to the public, ASA staff is continuing to engage with legislators to advance ASA’s priorities.

Additionally, as we approach LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE 2020, we continue to monitor the situation and public health factors.  ASA will have an update on the status of the conference by March 27.  In the meantime, we ask that you postpone making any travel arrangements or requesting any meetings with lawmakers.  Thank you for your flexibility and understanding.
