CMS Announces New Webinars on No Surprises Act Implementation

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced listening sessions for the federal surprise medical bill law, the No Surprises Act (NSA).  ASA members navigating the NSA process are strongly encouraged to participate.  Registration is required.  Please see each individual announcement for registration information. 

The sessions are scheduled as follows:

Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. ET: Representatives of CMS and the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) will present information on “surprise billing, notice and consent and enforcement” of NSA requirements.  

Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET: Agency representatives will discuss the NSA’s “good faith estimate” process.
