WEBINAR: Advocacy as a Trainee - Why and How

Join the American Society of Anesthesiologists on Wednesday, January 24 at 7 pm CT / 8 pm ET for an advocacy webinar specifically for residents! This will be hosted virtually as a discussion with ASA members who have walked the walk as both advocates and residents.  This year, we will also be joined by special guest Congressman Raul Ruiz, MD (D-CA-25), a physician member of Congress, who will talk about his experience in the intersection of medicine and policy.

Resident members will be able to hear from these ASA leaders about their experience and suggestions, as well as ask questions about advocacy involvement including the ASA Grassroots Network, ASAPAC, the Resident Scholar program, ASA Team 535, LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE, ways to be involved and first steps to take.  Dr. Conte will also preview an upcoming Resident Advocacy Champions certificate program.
