ACE-CAA is ASA’s continuing education program specifically designed for Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs). Created in 2019, it was developed to meet the educational needs of the expanding CAA community by providing content curated from ASA’s well-established ACE program.

What is required to complete ACE-CAA and receive continuing education credit?
Learners must complete all course items, 135 multiple-choice questions with explanations, and claim credit based on participation. Each edition is valid for 40 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
How often is ACE-CAA released?
ACE-CAA is published every two years, with each edition offering newly-curated content drawn from the previous two years of ACE material.
How long does each question take to complete?
Most learners can expect to spend approximately 15–20 minutes per question, allowing for a flexible, self-paced experience.
Is group or institutional pricing available?
