The Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology (MOCA®) Part IV course at the University of Colorado Anschutz, hosted by the Department of Anesthesiology, will once again take place in the state-of-the-art Health Sciences Building. Each full-day course offers immersive simulation-based education. Participants will become familiar with a high-fidelity mannequin in a simulated environment and then take turns managing realistic, anesthesia-inspired critical events. Scenarios will focus on immediate management of hypoxemia and hypotension in the extended anesthesia workplace. The course also emphasizes crisis and resource management.
