Pediatric Anesthesiology MOCA Simulation Course with AHA PALS Recertification

Education Track: Perioperative Medicine Credits: participants will receive 25 points towards their MOCA 2.0 Part 4 requirements. 6 hours category 1 CME, 2 hours ethics credits, 6.5 MOCA Patient Safety Credits, PALS (re)certification (optional)

This immersive MOCA® simulation course prepares anesthesiologists to manage critical pediatric perioperative events through hands-on practice and guided reflection. Participants will enhance their Crisis Resource Management and team communication skills while recognizing key anesthetic and ethical considerations during high-stakes scenarios. Using high-fidelity simulation in the Texas Children’s Hospital Simulation Center, learners will develop practical strategies for complex crises and effective pediatric resuscitation. You do not need to be a pediatric anesthesiologist to participate—this course is designed for learners of all backgrounds and experience levels.
