Multi-center Mayo Clinic study featured in The New York Times

A New York Times article explored the national drug shortage and highlighted a recent Anesthesia and Analgesia study conducted by the Mayo Clinic. ASA members Harish Ramakrishna, M.D., Franklin Dexter, M.D., Ph.D., and Sorin Brull, M.D., co-authored the study, which indicated that the majority of patients want to be informed of drug shortages that might affect their care.
