Lisa Solomon, DO, FASA, appeared on WIFR-TV (CBS; Rockford, Illinois) on Feb. 3 and Heidi Tavel, MD, FASA, appeared on KOLD-TV (CBS; Tucson, Arizona) on Feb. 7 in recognition of the week and to highlight the vital role physician anesthesiologists have had on the front lines treating COVID-19 patients. “You know you’re needed in these critical lifesaving moments,” said Dr. Solomon. “You may not necessarily recognize us and remember us, but we are right there.”
